Thank god this was the last show, the mic levels sucked. How did you guys last 84 shows. I think Brent must of hit some dial or button and screwed everything up.

It was fun while it lasted...thanks guys

Yeah they did suck didn't they. No excuse - the room is not really set-up for four people. I could tell we were overmodulated when we were recording so I knew it would be bad. Stupid amateur show.

I don't care about the mic levels, I will always remember the great advice and help you have provided. You make the listener believe you are only talking to them and thats the art of your show. It's great news about the 1 minute Mystery - but just doesn't seem right your going. I totally understand you all have lifes to get on with, but for many listeners you are now part of our lives and we have to move on. It's not a time to be sad, but just thank you all for giving us your show and such big parts of yourself. I hope we get a few golden nuggets, a show with Gracie is a must. But until next time, may the river be kind !!!

    Cheers
    Steven

PS. You must put up Show 1, otherwise my collection will be in-complete.

I'll miss the show alot. I listened to every minute of every show. (well I skipped alot of the Columbo Bonus show I admit) The Voice never did record me a message for my answering machine but all in all I'd say that Card Club was +EV and what more can you ask for these days? Sianara.

Mic levels no issue - no more LA big issue. Life will be just a little less sweet from now on but memories will be sweeter than before.

very best wishes and thanks to all involved.

    Take care.

Thanks for the great show. I have probably lost $1000 over the year accidently folding AA trying to post in cardclubs, while listening to your show. However, there is one piece of advice that has made me a alot of money and will continue indefinitely. Great show again, but do consider possibly re-starting the show again like pokerdiagram.

Guys, I have to be honest.

I've never played a hand of poker in my life.

I enjoy watching it on TV from time to time and reading about it but I just don't have the time to set aside to play right now.

Gonna miss you guys talking about players and poker strategy.

    Please reconsider stopping altogether.

    All the best-George

You guys will be missed. Thanks for entertaining us for all this time. A sad day for podcast listeners.

Oh, man. I just looked up "penultimate." I had thought it meant, like, really really ultimate. Bummer. :)

Thanks again, guys, for a terrific show & for carrying the burden of being that hub around which all us crazies could gather. Tons of fun getting to crash yr club all of these months. The very best to you & yr families.

Take this on as an idea, a quarterlie show on the equinox, 12-22, 3-22, 6-22, 9-22. Thus, you won't get into the habit of quitting a hard habit to break - Walter Matthew (Bad News Bears). Doing a weekly show you run out of material.

    Thanks guys,
The best compliment I can give you is that I used to look forward to Mondays when I would listen to your podcast on the way to work.

Headhunter Mark's rant from one of your earliest podcasts about not chasing away the fish by making rude comments should be compusory listening for everyone before playing online.

Special Show Time : ) Cmon guys..... it's all I want for Xmas.

posted by: James G on Sun, 12/10 11:44 PM EST

Special show time, equinox. Plenty to talk about what the heck. Why not throw one up for the fun of it. Hatchem big win, how about a WPT show. You were really getting them down. Maybe even a 10-minute show. Why not you only live once. Sean alone why not put one up and see the response. Cmon. For the fun of it. No Columbo to edit it. No complexities on the fly. Do it while headhunter mark and stacks are away. Maybe they can put one up too.

Okay, I am going to echo the call, Ante Up is entertaining and they do have Columbo but a Xmas Lord Admiral episode would make the year complete.

posted by: Thomas on Thu, 12/21 04:01 PM EST

surely it's time for just one precious golden nugget?

I am listening to Ante Up only because of Columbo, they're ok but a poor substitute. I really miss you guys, maybe you set the bar too high and with Poker Diagram on monthly at best it's pretty slim pickings out there.

Golden Nugget or not, I wish you all a very happy new year and thanks again for some great shows.

I like Ante Up! but I like PokerDiagram and Lord Admiral just as much.
Even the blogs are gone (Brent) or inactive (Cinci). But I know how hard it is to keep them going, it eats up time like nobody's business.
