Based on the last segment of the show, soon there will be a sad day for us pokeraholics.

Not that you 'owe' us anything but I really hope the show can go out with a bang. A few thoughts have crossed my mind:
    - Marathon live show including things like Pauly, incoming calls from dedicated fans (post phone number somewhere secure such as stackstown.blogspot.com), live chat etc.
    - Scheduled Lord Admiral Podcast Tribute tournament - 7-card stud or H.O.R.S.E

    Anyone have any good ideas?

    Congrats to the Cinci Kidd/

No more CCLAR? Your kidding, right?
I mean, throw us a bone, do an irregular show.
And how about the One Minute Mystery?
    Where will that go?
If nowhere, please, please, publish the 1MM's here.

Anyway, thank you for everything so far.

There is no way an entire year has gone by since the baby was born. No. Way.

And I'm really sorry I never checked my email on Sunday. Boo.

In the place of Card Club today I had Podrunner playing. Any hiccups on the RSS feed ? It was weird.

    Itunes sucks.

Already posted in the forums about this, but wanted to say here as well -- a tremendous thank you to you both for everything. For creating the genre of the poker podcast, for cranking out great, entertaining poker talk week after week, and for giving me something to look forward to on Monday mornings. It won't be the same without LACC, but you guys have accomplished something truly amazing.

    **standing ovation**

Groundbreaking! Thank you for sharing your love of poker over these last 2 years. You've made us all better for it. I wish there was a way we could all give back what you've given us and the genre.
Enjoy walking off in the sunset knowing the endless poker podcasts you've inspired as well as the radio shows and even the satellite radio poker shows. What a legacy. I wonder if Gavin Smith and Barry Greenstein's son know they wouldn't have their Sirius radio show if it weren't for the genre you all created. And it all started with a crappy microphone in a basement.

Forgot to throw in this one:
So long and thanks for all the fish. And always raise with pocket 42, it's the answer to everything.

OK, anyone that gets this reference might be a SF-nut like me :)
For the others, it is meant as praise, in a nerdy/geeky way :D

I have not heard the show yet. I may not listen after reading all these comments.

    Cincy / Brent

I think most of us are thinking the same thing…Say it ain’t so!
Truly a great run, I had a blast listening every Monday morning and really enjoyed the occasions where I was able to participate. I hope your time freed up from this does not go to improve your game at our table.

I’m sure I’m not alone when I say that this show was responsible for introducing me to a world of poker I did know existed. Especially the Dr, the Prof. and the Blog Father as well as numerous other great blogs and podcasts.

Erwin Blonk- the reference is not lost…One of the greatest opening lines to any book ever
In the beginning the Universe was created.
This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Thank-you all for the super nice comments. It has been a pleasure to spend time with each of you (so to speak) over the past two years.

Meh - once Columbo's wife came on the show had reached its peak. There was nowhere to go but down.

Right Mark, the show jumped the shark. Iggy was the last straw.

    But what about the children?

and Thanks for everything I have really enjoyed it.

and I think an online tourney would be great

Too bad no sites spread 5-card stud . . . that would be the appropriate game for a Lord Admiral Podcast Tribute tourney.

Said it on the forum already, but big thanks, fellas . . . !

I was wondering if you would be interested in placing PokerInside.com advertisement on your website. In return we would pay $30 per referral. If you are interested please view my blog [http://pokerinside.blogspot.com] for more information.

I was sadden when I read the news on Iggy's blog that CCLAR was ending. I had already downloaded the podcast, but I didn't get around to listening to it until today. I wish everyone at LAR the best of luck.

and may the river be kind.
